Enfortumab vedotin is an emerging therapy that has been nicknamed the Trojan Horse (easier to say than enfortumab vedotin!). Its mechanism reflects this metaphor. The immunotherapy’s antibody attaches to the cancer cell. On the back side of the antibody are a couple of molecules of a chemo-agent. Once attached, the cancer cell absorbs the entire combination and the released chemo-agent kills the cancer cell.
Upon hearing about this new immuno-therapy, I was inspired to sculpt a trojan horse. Take a close look, the horse spirit is breaking through the confines of the metal and wood. A powerful force.
