Celaeno is one of the Seven Sisters of the Pleiades star constellation. She is defined in Greek mythology as the swarthy, winged one and the daughter of Atlas and Pleione. She embodies self-realization and confidence. I enjoyed sculpting her in this small version, that I wanted to sculpt her again at 15 inches and add a whole lot more feathers.
